ROSSIGNOL INTRODUCES NEW RANGE OF HERETIC MOUNTAIN BIKES

They look good, too

Press Release

Our connection at Rossignol told us this is: ”

“…Rossignol’s 2022 relaunch of a redesigned and Enduro World Series vetted mountain bike range. The bike is offered in three different component packages, at three different price levels. These new bikes will be available directly through Rossignol.com. The main range is built upon three platforms: a 160mm Enduro, 140mm Trail and 145mm e-bike, which then encompass a dozen different models by spec. In addition, Rossignol will have 3 kid’s bikes, two are 24- and 20- inch full suspension bikes, as well as a kick bike for the littlest shredder.”

Here’s how Rossignol’s press release describes the Heretic range of bikes (one model is shown above):

“The Heretic perfectly balances hard-charging stability and playful, party lap performance. Developed with our World Enduro Factory Team riders, the Heretic stays fast on the nastiest descents while offering enhanced pedaling efficiency on climbs.

“The aluminum frame and Horst Link suspension smooth out big hits to small bump chatter providing the comfort needed for long enduro stages. The lively geometry encourages you to hit every jump and rip every last berm you can find.

“Durable and easy to maintain, you’ll spend more time riding and less time next to your bike stand. Are you ready to crank up the volume and stomp the gas?

“6061 Aluminum Frame
Our frames are made with 6061 Aluminum alloy offering the ideal balance between weight, stiffness, and performance. We chose aluminum because it’s fun and playful on any terrain and for many different riding styles while remaining reliable and durable. It’s also easier to recycle and has less CO² impact than alternative material options.

“New Horst Link Suspension
Our new Horst link suspension is a 4-bar linkage system that delivers responsive and supportive performance across a broad range of terrain. This suspension design minimizes the braking influence on your suspension while maintaining traction in rough terrain. The axle path is tuned to maintain optimal pedaling efficiency without the need for shock-assist climbing switches.

“Accessory mounting point
Use the additional accessory mounting point under the top tube to carry an extra tube, tools, or pump, and keep the down-tube mount for your water bottle.

“Chainstay protector
“A quiet bike is a fast bike.” Our proprietary chainstay protector reduces unwanted chain chatter and keeps your rear end out of trouble.

“27.5” or 29”

“Each size features adaptive geometry to provide the same riding experience from XS to XL. Our XS-Small bikes feature 27.5” wheels for smaller riders and a more nimble feel. Our Medium-XL bikes feature 29” wheels for stability at high-speed and navigating technical terrain.”
