SNOW BIKING IN UTAH

I haven’t taken a lot of pics lately. The weather has been less than stellar as of late. If none of these work, I can dig through some older stuff. Cheers.

No worries, Darren. These shots are great!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

I have attached some photos of me riding near Temecula Creek. The photographers are both close friends of mine, and a few of the photos were taken with my camera, so I’m sure it will be fine to use them. It would be rad to see them in MBA.

BROOKE ELLIOT IN COLORADO

Brooke Elliott is a highly skilled rider, and I love any opportunity to photograph her. In these shots, she is sessioning one of the many features along the Sluice, which is part of the network in the Floyd Hill system in Idaho Springs, Colorado. What I love about all these images is her focus and the happiness on her face as she puts air under her drivetrain! The best way to extend the longevity of mountain bike tires is to keep them off the ground!

[THE LATE] DENNIS FOSTER

This picture was taken at a local spot in Murrieta. Kris Magenheim took the picture. It was with Gabe Keating’s camera that day. A really fun spot. Good flow trails, features, jump lines, etc.

I’m 62 years old, an ambassador for Intense Cycles, and I ride for Jax Bicycle Center.

Dennis Foster

Murrieta, California

[Editor’s note: Tragically, Dennis Foster was killed in a helicopter crash right around the time the above photo of him was printed in Mountain Bike Action. Dennis had called MBA’s staff  photographer/senior editor John Ker a few days before the crash and invited him to go up in Foster’s friend’s helicopter and take some photos. “I was too busy working on the magazine to accept the invitation that week,” John recalls. “I was hoping that I could go up with them another day when I had more time. Their helicopter crashed that Friday, just four days after Dennis invited me to join them.”]
