Cannondale Scalpel Si World Cup – Interbike 2018

Cannondale had a couple new bikes on display including their newest Jekyll 29. Along with the new Enduro rig was the 2019 Scalpel Si with the new Lefty Ocho.

For 2019 there are several versions of the Scalpel Si including the highest end World Cup version that Henrique Avancini won Marathon World Championships aboard. The World Cup level features a full ENVE cockpit and their lightest M525 wheels.

Cannondale went with a SRAM XX1 Eagle drivetrain and Level Ultimate brakes.

The Ocho and Fox Float shock use a mechanical lockout on the same lever. Cannondale uses a clever cable guide on the shock to keep the cable housing under control.
