BMC has been one of the top cross-country bikes in the world for years. BMC sponsored Julian Absalon when he was dominating World Cup XC racing for over ten years. Julian still holds the record, now shared with Nino Schurter, for the most Elite Men’s World Cup XC wins  (33) in a career, along with the record of having won two Olympic gold medals in mountain biking (2004 and 2008). Team BMC manager Amaël Moinard and Sports Director Alex Moos are confident in achieving multiple podiums this season.

The team is supported by a strong set of industry-leading partners including Öhlins, Pirelli, SRAM, ABUS, and ASSOS of Switzerland.
BMC have been at the pinnacle of MTB XC racing for over a decade, won World Championships and World Cups, securing European and National titles, as well as being ranked the top UCI MTB XC World Cup team for several consecutive years.

This season, BMC is pleased to announce its first MTB XC pro factory team ownership. Having been at the forefront of professional cycling and supporting young talents on their way to becoming stars of the sport, Team BMC ignites a new era for the Swiss bike company.

Team BMC manager and ex-professional road rider – Amaël Moinard, feels confident to have the team climbing the podiums this season. While Steffi Häberlin secures BMC presence at the very peak of Women’s XC, the whole team – including returning World Champion Jordan Sarrou, Titouan Carod, Juri Zanotti and U23 hopeful Janis Baumann – starts the new season on the back of spectacular victories.

2023 sees the team racing aboard the World Championship winning platforms; Fourstroke 01 and Twostroke 01, in both the U23 and Elite fields. The latest iteration of the legendary Fourstroke 01 is the go-to machine to perform at the highest level with revolutionary technologies, such as BMC Autodrop.

2023 sees Team BMC enter the quest for the World Champion title, World Cup wins and the road to Olympic medals on the international MTB XC circuit. A strong team with a great mix of young talent, World Champions, experienced BMC riders and athletes new to the brand make for an exciting start to the journey.
