MOUNTAIN BIKE HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCES ITS NEWEST INDUCTEES

Check out who is being inducted this year

The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for this year. Probably the most famous one of them is Danny MacAskill, the mountain bike trials and video star, who has had tens of millions of views of his riding videos.

Danny MacAskill is the mountain bike star of numerous YouTube videos.

Danny will be joined this year by the founder of Intense Bicycles, Jeff Steber, the designer of some of the most impressive—and winningest—mountain bikes in history, including bikes ridden by such riders as John Tomac and Brian Lopes.

Jeff Steber, the founder of Intense Bicycles, is one of the newest inductees.

They will be joined by Australia’s Sam Hill, who is one of the greatest downhill riders of all time. Hill won the Junior Men’s Downhill World Championships for 2002 and 2003 before taking the Elite Men’s Downhill World Championships in the years 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2010. After his amazing downhill career, Hill transitioned to enduro racing, where he won the Enduro World Series title in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

The other inductees are three pioneers who were the key figures behind the rise of enduro racing in the mountain bike world. They were the men who helped turn enduro racing into one of the most exciting and most popular forms of mountain bike competition today. Those three men are Fred Glo, Enrico Guala, and Chris Ball.
