The long-awaited re-designed Shift R9 is an all-mountain machine that’s ready for your local trail spot. The Shift R9 feels right at home in the air, on climbs, downhills and over rocks. They will be here in May/June 2020, so keep and eye out and when the time comes to be sure to hit up your local shop for a test ride!
Shift R9 27.5
Built around our new Four-bar linkage frame with up-to-date geometry and proprietary X6 aluminum tubing, the new Shift R9 is the ultimate ride-anywhere-ride-anything Enduro model. With a steeper seat tube angle for more efficient pedaling plus a slacker head tube angle and longer reach for an improved attack position, the Shift R9 will satisfy a wide range of riders. With 160mm of rear travel and 170mm of front suspension provided by Rockshox, the Shift R9, with its new Shimano XT and SLX 12-speed components, allows for a smooth ride up or down the hills, under the clock or not, with a wide-range gear ratio and precise, crisp shifting.
