“October is one of the best times of the year to go mountain biking outdoors in the U.S.,
as long as the weather is willing to cooperate. It’s also when Ray’s Indoor Mountain Bike
Parks open, both in Cleveland, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin (above). Both parks offer
a wide variety of riding opportunities, from cross-country-style loops, to technical sections,
to rooms filled with ramps and jumps. Both parks are huge, indoor mountain bike (and
BMX bike) amusement parks, and they are well worth multiple visits. I could probably
ride either one every day, all winter long, and not get tired of it.”
