Rider’s Paradise
Enter Chaffee County, Colorado. It’s home to some of the state’s most extraordinary topography, especially if you ride mountain bikes. To sweeten the deal, its favorable location in the Arkansas River Valley blesses it with warmer, clearer weather than the surrounding area through the winter. It’s a phenomenon known as a banana belt, and the riders who live in the area know how to make the most of it.
