THE BALEARIC ISLANDS, SPAIN
The Balearic Islands are close to Barcelona with epic coastal locations. As you can see, the sunsets make you want to stop and enjoy the views after your rides, with a breeze from the Mediterranean Sea. You can get to the islands by a short plane flight or by ferry (for people who want to bring their own cars). The islands are used by UCI road cycling teams for pre-season training. This is a shot of local NICA rider Lukas Suo-Antilla on a practice ride in the South Foothills of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The roller is usually overgrown with grass and strewn with rocks, but it was in good shape this day. The exit is flanked with the native cholla cactus.

NEW-BIKE DAY, FIRST RIDE
Five-year-old Makai Abbruzzese aboard the capable Vitus Nucleus 24-inch, enjoying his backyard trails at Fort Ord National Monument, home of the Sea Otter Classic.
My buddy Britt Kanter has a special eye for catching great riding shots, especially up in the high-alpine country. This is me on the southern part of the Alpine 7 Trail in northwestern Montana, starting from Napa Point and riding north—one of the most epic trails in Montana and the entire Northwest.
SCHLADMING BIKE PARK, AUSTRIA
For me, this is the most iconic bike park in Europe. I come here to enjoy the amazing views surrounding the bike park. They have so many trails for all type of riders. This jump picture is on the old World Cup track. There are so many amazing views and the trail is always full of riders with enduro or downhill bikes. Photo by @stepup_media.
